Tarot Card Pull - November 6, 2024

Just for Fun Tarot Card Pull - November 6, 2024

This week I felt drawn to pull three cards instead of one, so I did! I used my Anime Tarot Deck and Guidebook: Explore the Archetypes, Symbolism, and Magic in Anime by Natasha Yglesias, this deck is one of my newer ones and I am completely in love with it, both with the art and the interpretation. The cards pulled were the Five of Wands, Four of Wands, and XII (12) - The Hanged Man. (Before anyone says that the Five and Four are because the deck is new, I pulled all three from different parts of the deck and none of them were touching or close. Random draws are just like that sometimes.)

Per the author's guidebook, the Five of Wands means:

* Attributes: Adversity, Transition, Uncertainty, Competition, Tension

* Reversed Attributes: Ignorance of Conflict, Resolution

Per the author's guidebook, the Four of Wands means:

* Attributes: Success, Security, Celebration, Rewards, Joy

* Reversed Attributes: Self-Doubt, Unmet Expectations, Delays

Per the author's guidebook, the XII (12) The Hanged Man means:

* Attributes: New Perspectives, Letting Go, Pausing, Trust

* Reversed Attributes: Distrust, Delays, Resistance, Stalling

* Type: Isekai Hero or Heroine

* Isekai Hero or Heroine appear in: Spirited Away (Chihiro Ogino), Inuyasha (Kagome Higurashi), Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits (Aoi Tsubaki), Re:Zero—Starting Life in Another World (Subaru Natsuki), That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Rimuru Tempest)

As someone who loves both Spirited Away and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, and who is constantly chased by The Hanged Man by every deck I have, this card's attributes and type make me smile.

Until next time, Lore Lovers, stay spooky💖

Location: Wildwood, St. Louis County, Missouri With reports of ghost children, orbs, serial killers, Indigenous American ghosts, zombies (?!?!), and more, Zombie Road AKA Rock Hollow Trail, located in Wildwood, MO (in St. Louis County), is considered one of the most haunted roads in America...but is it? The Lore Reports of paranormal activity on Zombie Road vary from experience to experience. Some people hear footsteps following them, there are reports of rocks being thrown, orbs caught on camera and seen firsthand by people, shadow people, and so much more. And because of all these reports, it’s easy to see why people consider it one of the most haunted roads in the United States. As there are a lot of reports and origin stories dating back to the 1800s, not to mention the location has a dozen names or so, I will try my best to orga

The Legend of the Siren of the French Broad River

The Legend of the Siren of the French Broad River Alluring Cherokee Cryptid or Just a Bunch of Babble? Location: Asheville, North Carolina Both a well-known and seemingly obscure legend, the Siren of the French Broad River is considered a Cherokee legend and has been making the rounds with non-Cherokee locals since 1845. Watch my research process and wrap-up videos here. The Lore Along the French Broad River, just east of Asheville, NC, weary male travelers have reported hearing a beautiful song and seeing a woman beckoning them from the water. If they are not careful, they fall into her arms and are pulled under the waters of the river, never to be seen again. In some tellings, the man falls victim immediately while in others, the siren visits him in his dreams over the course of 3 nights before luring him into the icy waters of the river.
