This week's card is the Eight of Wands and once again from the Tarot Familiars deck by Lisa Parker.

Per her booklet, the Eight of Wands means:

* Normal position: Swift activity, speed, hastily made decisions.

* Reversed position: Thorns of dispute, jealousy, harassment, quarrels, delay, discord.

Interesting, interesting. I actually did a couple of card pulls today and every draw was a Wands card.

The Legend of the Siren of the French Broad River Alluring Cherokee Cryptid or Just a Bunch of Babble? Location: Asheville, North Carolina Both a well-known and seemingly obscure legend, the Siren of the French Broad River is considered a Cherokee legend and has been making the rounds with non-Cherokee locals since 1845.
