Just for Fun - Tarot Card Pull - September 23, 2024 This week's card is the Eight of Wands and once again from the  Tarot Familiars deck by Lisa Parker . Per her booklet, the Eight of Wands means: * Normal position: Swift activity, speed, hastily made decisions. * Reversed position: Thorns of dispute, jealousy, harassment, quarrels, delay, discord. Interesting, interesting. I actually did a couple of card pulls today and every draw was a Wands card. And while not a reverse card, if you are a fan of discord and shameless plugs, join my free discord community, and let's talk lore! Just for Fun - Tarot Card Pull - September 16, 2024 This week's card is the Ten of Swords and from one of my favorite decks, Tarot of the Divine by Yoshi Yoshitani . This deck is "inspired by deities, folklore, & fairy tales from around the world" and there is a stunning companion lore book I plan on discussing in an upcoming library look. Per the author's guidebook, the Ten of Swords means: * Upright: Bitterness, betrayal, rock bottom, martyrdom, severing ties * Reversed: Surviving disaster, recovery, regeneration, the inevitable The card art represents Sedna from Inuit Mythology and the guidebook has a brief overview of the scene depicted. Click here for more information on Sedna and all her lore. We all see what we need to in the meaning of the cards. This could be seen as a "negative" card meaning, but I don't like to think in that way. When we hit our bottom, the only place to go is up (don't be that person and say you can move to the side ...

Electromagnetic Field (EMF) - Lily's Lore Lingo An electromagnetic field (also EM field) is a physical field, mathematical functions of position and time, representing the influences on and due to electric charges. The field at any point in space and time can be regarded as a combination of an electric field and a magnetic field. Because of the interrelationship between the fields, a disturbance in the electric field can create a disturbance in the magnetic field which in turn affects the electric field, leading to an oscillation that propagates through space, known as an electromagnetic wave. Wendigo - Lily's Lore Lingo Wendigo, a mythological cannibalistic monster in the spiritual tradition of North American Algonquian-speaking tribes. It is associated with winter and described as either a fearsome beast that stalks and eats humans or as a spirit that possesses humans, causing them to turn into cannibals. There are many different spellings and pronunciations for wendigo. In Ojibwe, the term is defined as “a winter cannibal monster,” but its name may derive from the proto-Algonquian word wi-nteko-wa, meaning “owl.” Also known as: atchen, chenoo, kewok, mhuwe, wheetigo, wi’ntsigo, wi’tigo, wiindigoo, wiitiko, windigo, windikouk, wintiko, wittikka ( Encyclopedia Britannica ) Read more about Wendigos Back to Lily's Lore Lingo *** Join our Discord community!
