Just for Fun - Tarot Card Pull - October 30, 2024 This week's card is the Nine of Cups, from one of my favorite decks, Tarot of the Divine by Yoshi Yoshitani . This deck is "inspired by deities, folklore, & fairy tales from around the world" and there is a stunning companion lore book that I highly recommend, whether you own the tarot deck or just want a beautiful lore book for your collection. Per the author's guidebook, the Nine of Cups means: * Upright: Dreams realized, fulfillment, pleasure, recognition, triumph * Reversed: Greed, devastation, pessimism, addiction, self-loathing The card art represents Taj Al-Muluk and the Princess Dunya from Arabic folklore and the guidebook has a brief overview of the scene depicted. I love that this card was pulled at the end of October and at the end of fairy tale lore here at Lily's Lore and Legends.
