We all know what pareidolia is, right? (If not, see image at end.) Well, I love to photograph tiny worlds and think about what tiny little life lives in them, and today, I captured a fairy.
Now, I know, of course, that what is captured isn't the best focused, as I was in a rush, but I do have a few progressively worse angles showing the same little bit of faux fae. And I only noticed as I sit here on my Friday night, vibing to some YouTube tunes and zoning in on my photos from the moss growing under a leaky column at the gas station this morning. I wanted to see if anything was worth cropping and sharing, and I was thinking about what kind of little fairy life (how I consider all microlife) called this place home when I saw my gorgeous gray gal. I didn't want to lose any kind of resolution in trying to crop the photo (because we all know I'm tech-impaired with this stuff), so I took a screenshot. (Ok, I may not be sober, so this was easiest. And I'm home, not going anywhere. And I'm almost 40, why am I explaining this?)But I digress... Like always. Y'all, I've missed writing for y'all, but I got stuff coming. Grrr, off-topic again. Fairy fic. Right. No, fairy pic. There we go. Back on track.
So, obviously, I did not capture a real fairy chilling at the pumps this morning. I just captured nature finding little places to make herself at home and a place to let my relaxed mind wander harmlessly. Because you never know, maybe there was a fairy hiding somewhere in all that green life. I just wasn't focused enough capturing my photos.
Until next time, Lore Lovers, stay spooky 💖
~Lily
